Honoured to say that I have completed my recruit training for @MississaugaFES. Over the past 17 weeks, I’ve met inspiring firefighters that helped shape me in my role. Their hard work and dedication, along with the support of my family, friends and colleagues got me here today.

In the spirit of healing and reconciliation, DPCDSB staff at the Catholic Education Centre are wearing orange today as we commemorate #OrangeShirtDay. As a faith community, we honour and support the healing journeys of those impacted by the residential school system.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Let us honour the resilience of our Indigenous communities everyday and work towards a future of healing.
