TECH HEADS ... HELP I am being told I'm out of storage. I started manually deleting photos files & emails from all locations on my phone and my computer to free up space. Trash, too. Looks good online. But Google keeps telling me I'm out of storage. What am I missing?

@lisa_catara @kglickstein I'm not sure how all that works. I paid $16 for 100GB for 1 year. I'll have to look into it

@Shawn_Possible @kglickstein How do you share storage? Don't you have anything proprietary that you don't want other eyes on?

@lisa_catara @kglickstein I bought a year's worth of storage. Good news is, I can share it with 5 people. So if anyone needs some free extra storage. I got you covered.

@lisa_catara I think they updated the system and reduced the amount of GB storage requiring us to buy a storage subscription. I never had any issues with storage capacity until recently

@Shawn_Possible I've spent 3 hours today manually deleting items from google, Google photos, drive, off my phone and computer, and cleared the trash. I went from 97% usage to 87% usage. Then I deleted a few more files, now I'm at 93% usage. Bullsh*t.

@lisa_catara True, I was thinking more broadly as acting more civilised in general. Intelligent debate is absent of random insults and loud outbursts.

@Shawn_Possible Where it comes to politics, it's a little more dire than that. Solutions can't be found when there's no discussion/ communication.

PSA If you're having a discussion with someone who increasingly raises their volume but never improves their argument and starts slinging insults, you don't have a conversation. And they don't have an argument.

@lisa_catara Totally understand that. I wish I could just pipe my well water to you. No additives, just farm fresh clean water.

@Shawn_Possible Then I would be filling it even more. At this point I'm trying to figure out the best option I can afford versus how it's affecting my health.

Is there a water filter out there that actually purifies water so that it is safe to drink? Britta and Zero are useless, I drink too much water to be dealing with the refilling and new filters. I can't lift a 5 gallon glass jug either. Does anybody have an affordable solution?

@lisa_catara You can get a travel Berkey. They are not so big.

@Shawn_Possible Berkey. I remember. The tanks hold 2.24 gallons. I'd be filling it up every other day. And they take a lot of space that I don't really have. I'm thinking clean water is a luxury. Very expensive. I've looked at 15 different companies now.

@lisa_catara @OnlyJustABill I've owned a Berkey for over 10 years. Best water ever. Removes industrial pollutants. 99.9999999% clean water Only one person I would buy from. Treated a family member awesomely, therefore, I purchased from him and he was awesome to me.

@OnlyJustABill Do you use berkey? They're not inexpensive units. And they require space to store. I've looked into them in the past. I've been eyeballing the pur system that screws right on the faucet. Costs average around $100 a year which I'm paying anyway for bottled water/plastics.

It's a #Festivus for the rest of us.
