@ajmns_au Wrong building. The Rum hospital is today’s state parliament. The Sydney hospital pictured is later development in Victorian era. In fact Florence Nightingale supervised the early nurses in one wing so named now.

Sydney Hospital is the oldest hospital in Australia, dating back to 1788, and has been at its current location since 1811. It's also known as the "Rum Hospital" because the contractors who built it were paid with thousands of gallons of rum, which served as an official currency.
