BMA staff have spoken loud and clear: enough is enough. With a 96% vote for strike action on an 80% turnout, GMB members are standing up for fair pay after years of erosion.

Until SOSR reason is sorted out properly @UKLabour it will remain simpler to sack the whistleblower than tackle the problem. This is a real problem in the NHS, it's not in one or two problem places either.

Fantastic effort by @ChrisSmith2211 & team! Avg 9.9% pay uplift for 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 resident doctors. The 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 govt negotiated & avoided strikes with 9.9%. The 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 govt negotiated & didn’t get any strikes with an *extra* 4%. We’ve maintained all along we want to negotiate to avoid strikes in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. The govt CAN make that happen.
