Did you know that PEP and PrEP are different from each other? PEP must be taken within 72 hours AFTER exposure to HIV and must be used for 28 days to prevent HIV. PrEP must be used 7 days BEFORE exposure to HIV and can be taken for as long as you want to prevent HIV.

We know that sex can happen at the drop of a hat when it is consensual. Stay ready. It is important to keep yourself safe. Find free condoms at your nearest clinic. You can also ask about other methods of prevention, such as PreP and other contraceptives.
