I need them to drag that moniepoint CEO well because naija employers are bottom barrel, they don't contribute anything to the talent ecosystem except complaints.

He made a decision in 2024 to hire exclusively from Nigeria. One year later he is faced with a challenge that stems from tech companies and many Nigerian companies refusing to train talents and he blames it on yahoo yahoo and hook up culture. Just one year without a real plan

“I used to feel Nigerians are really bright. We’ve had over 500 vacancies since 2024, and we’re still struggling to find Nigerians to fill those roles. They don’t meet global standards. I blame social media, yahoo and hook up culture..” — Tosin Eniolorunda, Moniepoint CEO

Beer parlour talk should be treated as such, regardless of who is saying it. The other time it was social media that made jamb failure rate high. Now it is responsible for lack of talent.

"We're looking for someone with a passion for data entry." No. You're looking for someone who needs money to pay rent, buy groceries, cover medical bills, and keep the lights on. Let’s stop pretending Excel spreadsheets are a spiritual calling.

I don’t need a backstory to support abortion. “I don’t want to be pregnant” is valid on its own.

You are very greedy. Barakat and Co stepped down for you in 2023 for you to go for 3rd term that you didn’t deserve plus nobody has done 3 terms in lere, you were allowed. Now it’s your turn to step down, you are doing anyhow. You will be shamed.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT My dear people of Surulere Constituency I, I greet you all with profound respect and gratitude. A few days ago, I obtained the nomination form to seek a return mandate to the Lagos State House of Assembly to represent Surulere Constituency I. I write to formally inform all residents, workers, political associates, leaders, stakeholders, and the good people of Surulere of this decision. This step is born out of my continued commitment to serve, to consolidate the progress we have made together, and to further advance our collective aspirations. I remain deeply grateful for the trust, encouragement, and solidarity you have shown me over the years. By the grace of God, my return to the House will confer ranking status on our constituency. In a system where experience is recognized, this position will attract greater attention and benefits for our people. To our party leaders in Surulere Local Government, ward executives, community leaders, youth groups, women’s associations, and all stakeholders across Lagos State and beyond: I sincerely appreciate your unwavering support, guidance, and belief in our shared vision. I appeal to all my supporters to remain calm, steadfast, and focused. Let us continue to uphold peace, unity, and respect as we move forward on this journey together. Our strength has always been in our togetherness, and I am confident that the same spirit will see us through. I do not take your support for granted. Together, we will continue to build a stronger Surulere and contribute meaningfully to the development of Lagos State. Thank you all. May we continue to move forward in unity and purpose. Signed, Hon. Desmond Olushola Elliott Member representing Surulere Constituency I Lagos State House of Assembly

this is the part that stings the most the same company that can’t “afford”₦500k for a Nigerian engineer is paying a foreigner $8k/month plus accommodation in VI it’s not about capability, it’s about perceived value we’ve been conditioned to accept less from our own institutions while foreigners walk in and collect what we deserve the bias isn’t even hidden anymore 😭
Technical Ben@TechnicalBben

Lmao Nigeria companies, will hire foreigners and bring them here, lodge them in VI, cover everything and pay them their global rate. lmao 🤣 wahala for black man ooo 😭
