Really big opportunity for Gio Reyna and Joe Scally. The USMNT is depleted with injuries and this might be the only chance they get to cement themselves as part of the roster. If they impress, they’ll be back in March. Anything less, probably no World Cup for them.

@ManagerTactical Fotmob got this one right. He was the best player on the field for gladbach and you could see his frustration with his teammates playing poorly. They could turn some things around with guys returning from injury. Promising start from Gio - he’ll get his legs back soon enough!

Anyone that watched the game will agree that Gio Reyna looked good.
Great news for the USMNT 🇺🇸
He played well, it was a promising debut, despite Gladbach not being good at all.
On the ball he was great, he also defended well when needed. I guess the only issue is that he is still reluctant to sprint.. he also looked gassed after the 60th min.
Regardless, this was his 1st game back and I liked it.

@SheaAlevy You aren’t wrong. See my self reply. But he also could have tracked back more aggressively to prevent the second. The ball fell right where he was going (slowly)

@ManagerTactical @11Yanks @herculezg what do you think? The medical staff behind him can’t get much worse than BVB and these guys at gladbach seem to have a great track record for keeping guys healthy and thriving 💪🏼

Really hopeful about this move and can’t wait to see @GioReyna10 cook again! His best teammates at @borussia won’t be touching the ball much: Chris Wilting (Sport Psychologist) & Alex Mouhcine (Speed and Conditioning) will be crucial pieces and have him running like 2019 @USMNT
