🚨🚨 The U.S. just denied Mahmoud Abbas & Palestinian officials, visas to attend the UN General Assembly. Let that sink in. After years of playing the compliant puppet, denouncing resistance, policing his own people, doing everything short of shining Netanyahu’s shoes, this is his reward. You can betray your people for decades & still not be allowed in the room. Obviously, respect isn’t something they give, but something they fear. Abbas may not be a threat, but he sure is an inconvenience. Because here’s the brutal truth: no matter how many times he bends over backwards for Western approval, he is not & never was seen as an equal. He’s a tool when convenient, a liability when inconvenient, & disposable at all times. He played the good colonial subject role, & still got ghosted like a bad Tinder date. It’s insulting, yes, but more than that, it’s clarifying. Anyone still clinging to the idea that the West is interested in “moderation” needs to sit down and re-evaluate their subscription to this delusion. The real lesson? Appeasement doesn’t earn respect.
