@waveatthetrain Yes that's the plan. The area in the video and the 'new' wall will be exposed permanently. Plus we hope to do more in the longer term.

Week 5 update from Wessex as they start to work on the moat in the gatehouse area. Great to hear from volunteers who have had a great time working on the industrial remains and part of the 12th century motte of the first castle. Wessex Archaeology #sheffieldcastle #heritage
