I feel like I’ve seen the The Jinx baptism scene different than most people. I always saw it as a desperate attempt by Silco to keep Jinx on his side and to keep pushing his projections onto her, yet it utterly failed cause the bridge scene alone negates the baptisms purpose

Direção ate que é boa e da uma tensão aqui e ali, mas a história é bem qualquer coisa.
Se for usar de termômetro pro novo filme de RE então to mais pessimista ainda 😅

@HudBillie Basically, Jinx and Lux are super close in League lore and as we see in star guardian au. Lightcannon is older ship than timebomb so when arcane didn't bring lux as jinx's S/O, older fans got pissed off and hated on timebomb, used the bridge fight scene to call ekko misogynist

@Zekefreak4 @xaeldritch their absence due to hard work making no sense now, but also others like wanting Ekko to abandon Zaun and his community to go live in Piltover (the city that not long ago coldly executed their unarmed friends and neighbors).
So some rewrites are necessary from my point of view.

@Zekefreak4 @xaeldritch No, I'm saying it needs rewriting because, in the context of Arcane, keeping things as they were in the old lore will make his parents look like jerks and their relationship terrible.
And I don't want that.

@xaeldritch +++ My best guess is they could use the storyline of his parents being kidnapped, but set in a time where Ekko is too young to remember, and now in present day he finds out about it and goes to save them. And from there, they rebuild the relationships we know in future stories.

@SheiGarche @xaeldritch It wouldn’t tho most likely when ekko struck out on his own they stopped working hard like that maybe they had a falling out but the can’t be dead they’re not on the mural

@Zekefreak4 @xaeldritch I never said they were dead in my previous tweet, but that it needs to be rewritten to fit the new lore. Because it doesn't make sense for them to be overburdened with work to provide for Ekko when he has a self-sustaining community of his own.

@residentevildb @cinepop A única coisa que eu não quero é que o filme termine em "apocalipse zumbi", "o mundo acabou", "existe mais monstro do que gente", etc... Porque isso nunca aconteceu no universo dos jogos e toda adaptação tenta ir pra esse lado 🙄

@xaeldritch Sorry, this bit of lore isn't supported by the new post-arcane canon, so it's almost impossible for Riot to maintain it specifically like this. A major rewrite needs to happen to reintroduce his parents in a way that makes sense now.
