Humanitarian convoy reaches Rmeich south 🇱🇧 . In coordination w/ @HaneenSayed_LB & the disaster risk reduction unit @WFPLebanon @UNHCRLebanon @UNICEFLebanon @UNFPA @SheildAssoc @PlanGlobal delivered relief aid to hard-to-reach families cut off by the escalation.

Kitchens are still running, and the support continues. Hot meals are being delivered to shelters in South Lebanon and Beirut, bringing comfort and nourishment to displaced families who need it most.

Happening now. Over 500 ready to eat rations delivered now to displaced families in Tyre. & hot meals to families displaced in Beirut and Saida just in time for Iftar. @WFP remains on the ground and ready to respond as needs rise.

As communities come together in a month centered on giving and mercy, our response efforts continue on the ground in Tyre and Beirut ensuring families receive warm, dignified meals despite the challenges of war.

EORE in Action! 💡 Even after wars end, the danger continues. Children and families often encounter explosive remnants without knowing it. That’s why Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) is vital — to teach communities how to stay alert, stay safe, and protect lives.

In collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP), SHEILD is implementing the School Meals Programme, ensuring the provision of nutritious, locally produced apples to students. This initiative enhances children’s access to healthy meals.

SHEILD joined a workshop by the Lebanon Mine Action Center & Norwegian People’s Aid on non-technical survey, protection, food security & post-clearance assessment at the Regional School for Humanitarian Mine Action in Hamana.
