Throwing it back to the 2010s with this 2012 SuperRigs calendar feature! William Warner Jr., out of Circleville, WV, kept his 1989 Ford LTL rolling in honor of his dad. As a longtime SuperRigs fan, making the calendar was a moment he was excited to share with his son. With classic red stripes and a smooth deck, this was the kind of truck that carried a story every mile. 📻🚛💿

Big update for SuperRigs this year! Leo Barros is stepping in as a guest judge. If you’ve been around SuperRigs, you’ve seen Leo. He’s covered this show for years and knows the stories behind the chrome, the paint, and the miles. Based in Canada, Leo brings a CDL and more than three decades in trucking journalism, offering a real driver’s perspective to the panel and helping uphold the high standards the competition is known for. From Truck News to Today’s Trucking, Leo’s built a reputation as a trusted voice across the industry. Now he’s bringing that experience, and energy, to the judge’s seat. In trucking, schedules can change faster than a driver grabs their morning coffee, and these unexpected twists are just part of life on the road. At Shell Rotella, we get it and know flexibility is key. This year, that means a change for SuperRigs. After 30 amazing years as a cornerstone of the event, Jami Jones won’t be joining us as a judge, and yes, we’re picturing at least a little good natured pouting over those schedule conflicts. We’ll definitely miss her, and we can’t wait to welcome her back next year. Stay tuned: we’ll be announcing who’s stepping in for Jami at this year’s show very soon!

Shell Starship 3.0 was on site at Eco-Marathon at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, demonstrating how cutting-edge efficiency concepts are being applied in real-world trucking. While students pushed the limits of efficiency on the track, Starship 3.0 showed how those gains are already being put to work. Now running with a natural gas engine, it’s built to show how performance and fuel economy can be improved with the right setup.
