Awful news. Giggsy Priestley, former @CherryWillCC skip & great mate to many passed away very suddenly this morning. He'd become ill & it escalated quickly, an ambulance was called but he sadly slipped away. Thoughts with wife Becky, their daughters, Judy, Dick & all the family!

Some more terribly sad news! Former @CherryWillCC 2nd XI captain Kev Pimm passed away in the last few days. Pimmy or Cliff, as he was known, played in the mid-late 90's & took on the @SundayLeague13 2nd team to ensure our youngsters had a platform to play snr cricket! RIP mate.

The club are saddened to hear of the passing of former Club Chairman, Jeff Stephenson. Jeff along with his wife Gill were formidable senior committee members who worked tirelessly in the best interests of the club. We send our condolences to Gill, Ben, Jono and all the family
