@DrJayDrNo @ThoughtsNations That's a nice big one. Looks great. I had a sign in the provincial election and one in the federal election. First time ever. Had issues Cons/PPC damaging the sign especially federal one. Less so with the NDP one provincially since the Cons knew they were going to win again.

@AmieVarley @LLynneIrwin The problem is, of course, that so many look like that. I don't assume but as a female I definitely have a close look at them before I go anywhere near them in a store. Luckily the scowl, attitude and aggressive posture tends to give them away. So much hate -they can't hide it.

@LLynneIrwin 💯This was a white man who was wearing camouflage clothes, had a long beard and baseball hat and the first thing I thought was MAGA. Then I caught myself- we smiled at each other and had a quick conversation. He was so pleasant. I felt like an asshole. I’m glad I checked myself.

I had an unconscious bias moment am glad I caught myself. It was not easy! I made a false assumption solely based on how an individual appeared, but I paused to ask myself if that inference was true- IT WASN'T!!! This is what I ask you- take that moment to pause- don't JUDGE!

In 2012, the Harper-Poilievre govt announced “major transformations” & cuts to pensions. If we didn’t stop their plan seniors would have to wait longer to retire starting THIS month. They deserve to retire with financial security & we can’t let Poilievre & the CPC risk that again

@Shellbran3 @MondoAlberta Yes, if I recall correctly that is what they stated. I think at one time French Vanilla or perhaps all icecream was made with a lot of raw eggs and would get the yellow color from the egg yolk. But raw egg now has cautions applied to it so the yellow is accomplished with tumeric.

@Shellbran3 @MondoAlberta I communicated with Chapmans on that and most of the yellow color is from turmeric. I am not sure why they would add that ingredient.

Well, we had to cancel this. Ellie cut her leg running in the woods and it was off to the vet hospital. Stitches, cone of shame. She's fine. I'm so glad we have a 24 hour emergency vet hospital here.

It's Zoom call night with family in Toronto, Vancouver, and Kingston. We've been doing this since 2020 about every two or three months and it's brilliant. I'd like to expand on it but, it can be hard to pin times down with busy people. Love that we can do this.

@heinrichs_helen @MondoAlberta Its funny, my son loves that one but I am with you on that. French Vanilla is too rich or something. I never enjoy it as much as regular vanilla. Not sure why I just don't.

@Shellbran3 @MondoAlberta And the fat content is quite a bit less. Hagen has 32gm or 36gm per serving, the new Chapmans has around 20gm per serving if I recall correctly.
