Good morning Shenmue fans! 💫 Happy Bank Holiday Monday! Hopefully you weren't woken up abruptly like Ryo was when Fangmei first showed up. She's a bundle of energy and positivity, which makes her one of the most endearing characters Ryo meets on his journey. We all need more Fangmei in our day! 💙

@Shenmue_Dojo Fangmei is one of the most memorable parts of Shenmue 2. I have played the game up to 5 times now and every time she gets introduced in this cutscene, I always smile because of the way she talks, communicates, and interacts with Ryo and everyone is so wholesome.

Here's a lovely fun fact that I just recently discovered about Shenmue 2: the conversation with Ryo and Zhang in the pre-release version of Shenmue 2 was not about Zhu hiding himself from the Chi You Men, but them wanting to find him to locate the Wulinshu (Martial Arts Book) because it contained the secrets and history of their organization and had information about the mirrors! @ShenmueVillage I do agree that it shouldn't be rushed and that Shenmue III shouldn't have finished the series. But, I do think Shenmue III could have added more story especially since we've waited 19 years for it. A lot of the main story was filler and sidequests.

Shenmue has all of this story and room to expand into the narrative martial arts epic that it's known as and people really thought that Shenmue 3 could have concluded 11/16 chapters of story and narrative journey (originally going to be told over the span of 7 games) into one long game, which would have alienated long time Shenmue fans and obviously pissed off a lot of people if it ended up being rushed. #Shenmue3 #SEGA #Shenmue3Enhanced #LetsGetShenmue4

@Shenmue_Dojo I agree 100%. When I was a kid, I visited this area a lot to buy the Sonic capsule toys. So nostalgic.
