Iran continues its attacks on Kuwait’s desalination plants and power stations for the fourth consecutive day, while intensifying missile strikes on the American base in Bahrain. Just as Iran is striking with missiles and drones, U.S. forces are attacking with HIMARS launches from their bases in Bahrain and Kuwait. Iran has also kept the strait closed, hitting and damaging four ships that attempted to break the blockade. Israel is finalizing preparations and major waves of U.S. and Israeli attacks are expected to hit Iran within the next 72 hours.

This statement is not entirely accurate. Although global stockpiles are low, they would still be sufficient to sustain at least another 40–60 days of intense warfare. This would require Trump to approve the reallocation of reserves, leaving regions and global allies with extremely depleted stocks of interceptors and precision-guided munitions, along with very few drones remaining. Low stockpiles represent a warning, but they do not constitute a barrier to escalation under the American plan. The real strain is political and economic, driven by pressure from Gulf allies, shortages of refined products, and the impact on domestic economic indicators caused by the war. The American attacks on Iran throughout the truce period are not mere retaliation. They follow a deliberate tactical pattern that anticipates further military phases.
