Catholics are VERY DIVIDED on #CA3 and it is causing DIVISIONS in the church 💔 Why do you think only 5 Bishops signed the letter against constitution amendment? We have 8 dioceses in Zimbabwe, all represented by 1 bishop each but 3 Bishops refused to sign the letter because "it is too political" for them, so they say. Only the Archdiocese of Bulawayo, Archdiocese of Harare, Gokwe and Hwange signed the treasonous letter while Masvingo, Gweru and Chinhoyi refused to do so. I don't think all Catholics are in support of what these 5 Bishops have written. Ofcos it is their right to write to Parliament as Zimbabweans BUT it is very wrong for them to write pretending like this is a message that came from Catholics in Zimbabwe yet it is just from the 5 of them. THEY DID NOT CONSULT their congregants in the first place. I will give you an example of this division. Fr Mukonori, a veteran priest came out and said he was in support of the bill, many prominent names who are STAUNCH CATHOLICS like the Vice President Chiwenga, Speaker of Parliament Cde Mudenda, Minister of State Harare Cde Tawenga, Minister of Tourism Barbara Rwodzi and many more are in support of #CA3. There are also millions in the church who are in support as well. What do you think those people would do when their leaders are making such decisions?

Home Affairs Minister Kazembe Kazembe has warned of a severe staffing shortage in the country’s police service, saying the deficit is already straining operations and leaving many areas under-policed.
