@DecomposedMaw I did get it eventually and your attempt was pretty good! At least probably better than what I would have done. I think it might just be that- while that IS how vapor would stream out of something like a kettle or the like, vapor coming off of a body of water might be different?

@SherbertSK I tried to make it look like smoke from a hot spring, but it ended up looking more like ripples 😅 I definitely need more references and more practice.

@DecomposedMaw Mm, that + the monochromatic look makes them really stand out as the focal point

@SherbertSK I always use mixels for the cats because I like them to look smoother and more detailed especially the eyes, so I can make them perfectly round. And sometimes I mix styles for other objects too if it feels right.

@DecomposedMaw I like how you've reused the vapor effect to give it that 'classic' feel. Though I admit it looked like a mere water surface effect at first.

@partyponypower Ahh. Honestly not what I expected at all, but after giving it a bit of thought...Dynamo might be the right choice after all. I hadn't realized you were counting subs/specials--in that case I would've suggested Chumps for Jane to match her land, but there's no good kits for that.

@SherbertSK I decided on dynamo for jane actually and this is the reasoning ⬇️ as for jake , I’m not sure yet
