I am beyond done with this millennial idea that a show is not "for kids" if a character dies in any way on screen

The problem with Hasbeen's character design is that you'd think it'd be all aesthetics no substance but there's not even aesthetics. You find out what a character is supposed to reference and you're like what? how?? where???

This is so funny in hindsight because the writers wrote themselves into a corner by starting the season with a flashforward to the funeral of a major character.... and hadn't even decided who that was lol

10 years ago today, ARROW killed off Laurel Lance / Black Canary. The decision was widely panned, leading a significant ratings decline. It has gone down in history as one of the worst storylines in DC TV history.
