If you want a high soteriology, you have to establish a higher Christology. Recognizing the Son's utter uniqueness is what makes it possible to say safely that believers are born of God. Cyril (Mr. Deification) says this is now John 1:13 does it (John Comm, Maxwell, 1:61)

As a doctoral student, I was discouraged that there were no books by black female systematic theologians that I could find. As Toni Morrison said, "If there's a book that you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it.” Book submission December 2027!
