My 22 nd loaf of sourdough bread With fresh jalapeños and sharp white cheddar in it. It’s my first time adding those two ingredients into it. The house smells amazing i can’t wait for it to cook enough to cut it. Thank you Ross for your help with this it cooked 10 minutes blonder to reach the right internal temp. @BoxMartian

It’s doing the final proof then I’ll s ore it, egg wash and bake My second dough is kneading and then it rests proofing. I am going to add jalapeño, diced extra sharp white cheddar, once I get my big square ready & before I fold it over, then roll it up to put in the bread pan . No egg wash on the second one. I’ve been told to just spritz it, cook it 15° lower temp..

I just started my dough for my 21st loaf of sourdough bread. I just added salt to the second knead cycle in my bread machine. When that’s done, it sits and proofs for nearly 2 1/2 hours. After that, I form it into a loaf, let it prove one more time, score it, do an egg wash, and bake it. When I put that loaf in the pan to proof the second time, I will start the dough for my second loaf today. I am going to add jalapeño peppers and extra sharp cheddar cheese for the very first time. If I follow the wonderful advice I got from Ross and Positive, it’s gonna turn out delicious, though I’m a little nervous. It will be the 22nd loaf of sourdough, but my first with jalapeño and sharp white cheddar! Make sure the jalapeños are very dry, cube the cheddar, do not use an egg wash, spritz it instead, and drop the temp by 15°. @BoxMartian
