You can’t claim that you feared for your safety but refused to leave an area where you weren’t supposed to be even after being asked to leave 15 times. Telling someone… “Touch me and find out” …is provoking them. You can’t claim to be afraid and to be defending yourself while at the same time instigating and provoking a conflict. If Karmelo was afraid and really thought he was in danger he had every opportunity in the world to separate/distance himself from that danger. But Karmelo wasn’t afraid. Karmelo was looking for trouble. Karmelo knew he wasn’t in danger. Karmelo knew that he was the real danger and the only one with a weapon.
