Captain Hunter was presented with the Canadian flag from Deputy Chief Hayes. This flag was the one that was flown over station 2 on Captain Hunters last shift of duty.

At 0745 this morning, Captain Bob Hunter retired after 31 years of dedicated service to the London Fire Department. The LPFFA with the LFD have started a new tradition honouring our retiring members with a walk-out ceremony. Congratulations Bob, and all the best in retirement!

Congratulations to @DuttonDFire on their new @MidwestFire Tanker 74. Fortunate to have been able to have been a part of the final inspection & trip home. After the firefighters have been trained on this new apparatus, it will begin it’s many years of service in @DuttonDunwich.

Thanks to multiple 911 callers that advised our Communication Operations of an eastbound train on fire going over Oxford St. We were able to get on scene & contain the fire in the downtown area very quickly with limited damage and no injuries. Great job by Fire COMMs. #ldnont ^cs
