@ShiMapleLeaf honestly, avoid a specific type of employer at all costs... because on the other hand, 99% of my clients are extremely respectful people that made my work feel valued. granted, freelancing isnt great, but to me it has been so worth it because of things like this

it gives me the impression that they think creative jobs = hit it off and get rich easy, or something, while the reality is that creative jobs take a lot of your time and energy for very little pay off, and a lot of people are not understanding about it at all

@fiopico it's awful 🫤 as someone who aspires to do more with writing and storytelling, i fear my dream might already be hopeless
