We are pleased to announce that @SHOUTcastRadio has responded to our concerns about the delay in payment and has assured us that they will be resolving the issue as soon as possible. They have committed to paying all due payments before the end of the year 2022. 🙏
In the meantime, I will wait for the ECC's response. Keep in mind that this new company may not be aware of the situation but is held liable for any debt TargetSpot has. Waiting for their response as well.
..so we went ahead and made a complaint with European Consumer Centre in Belgium (where headquarters is located) and requested investigation. It is not known if the acquisition was completed, but we have also contacted Targetspot's buyer to see what action needs to be taken next.
I appreciate everyone's concerns. I don't want to waste my time directly with @Shoutcast & @TargetSpot anymore since it's clear they have no intentions of trying to resolve the issue and pay everyone (not just us). They are rushing to complete the sale with the new company...
We took screenshots of many complaints found. Other stations were shut down immediately after requesting payments. If you know someone with a radio station or podcast channel who is owed money by Shoutcast/Targetspot, please have them email us at: info@shibburnradio.com.
According to the complaints found on the web from other radio stations, they have been doing this for a couple years already... collecting money from advertisers and keeping it all for themselves. Completely unacceptable!
