@anthonyzenkus In fairness we can’t push the current Democratic Party but I think the trick is for progressive voters to become the Democratic Party. Mamdani is a good start. Get progressives who can run off the power of the voter and that will in turn get the lobbyists shit to slow down

When Gavin Newsom ran for governor, he was strongly in favor of Single Payer (Medicare for All) healthcare and called it a "top priority". Once he became governor, he abandoned it. Democrats who run both houses of the CA legislature then killed the CalCare single payer bill.
Anyone who says you can push Democrats left is lying.
