Migrating takes less than two minutes. Open Shield, select "Import Wallet," and enter your seed phrase or private key from Leo. Your accounts and balances carry over. No bridging, no token conversion, nothing to lose. If you already have a Shield wallet, new accounts can be imported by clicking your account in the top left corner, selecting “Add” and importing via Seed Phrase or Private Key. On a public ledger, every donation exposes the recipient. Their identity, their location, and how much they received are all visible to anyone. For displaced communities, that kind of exposure can be dangerous. This pilot with @mercycorps uses USDCx on @AleoHQ to deliver aid privately, and it's one of the clearest examples yet of why privacy technology matters.

A new model of aid is being piloted in Colombia. In partnership with @mercycorps / @MCSocialVenture & @GSR_io / @foundation_gsr, @HumLinked have built a solution that leverages Aleo’s privacy technology to deliver private stablecoin donations to displaced communities, protecting personal data and preserving dignity throughout the process. Unlike other crypto donation platforms that broadcast transactions on public ledgers, this solution enables organizations to verify eligibility and distribute aid without exposing sensitive information about recipients. Two pilots are underway, first with the dedicated team at @DRC_ngo, and soon with @GOAL_Global, to send private donations to people in need. With USDCx on Aleo, a stablecoin backed by @USDC in @Circle xReserve, the team can securely validate eligibility while protecting the identity and safety of those receiving aid. To ensure the program is as inclusive as possible, recipients can register for donations via WhatsApp and redeem their funds simply by using QR codes. Every step of the attack relied on public ledger transparency. Visible liquidity pools, readable oracle feeds, and exposed wallet positions meant the attackers didn't need to break the code. They just needed to read the chain. Privacy doesn't solve social engineering, but it removes the map attackers use to plan exploits like this.

The Drift exploit drained $285 million in twelve minutes. Not through a code vulnerability, but through six months of social engineering and a fake token used to manufacture $500M in collateral on a public DEX. But the social engineering was just the entry point. It worked because the chain showed attackers exactly where the value sat, how it moved, and what was worth taking.
