NEW VIDEO🚨 Nintendo Switch 2 Editions were one of the most exciting things going into the Switch 2 generation for me. Fast-forward a year later and these upgrades have been all over the place. Couple good, bad, and some that lie in between. So we'll be going the first slate of Switch 2 Editions to figure out.. What's up with The Consistent Inconsistencies With Nintendo Switch 2 Editions?

@Axzercus 2 is an improvement over X. It didn't bother me much in my experience

@ShiftedPyro Is the upscaling on Xenoblade 2 good? I tried playing the switch 2 edition of X and the upscaling was pretty bad to the point where it actually hurt my eyes.

Updated the Switch 2 Edition graphic again with Xenoblade 2's Switch 2 Edition now included. Yeah it's really fucking good. Easily one of the best Switch 2 Editions they put out. It looks so good man I could cry...

@Zeebor15 1DE's performance drops are far more severe and frequent compared to 2 in my experience. that's the main thing holding it back for me imo

@ShiftedPyro How is 2 better than 1? The performance seems about the same, and as someone who knows nothing about Saga other than KOS-MOS, I don't think the gameplay additions are better than XenoKart

@RobBackUp2 Yeah for right now. Dunno when they're gonna patch it but best to play with S1 ver for the most stable experience

@ShiftedPyro why did they even charge anything for acnh? mario odyssey for example had a better switch 2 update, and it was free lol

@Absolootbats It does run better. There are some hitches from time to time but its like 4 fps and recovers a sec later compared to 1DE dropping into the 40s in some places

@lastofmehdi All the Nintendo first-party ones yes. I didnt put TOTK because of redundancy and to make for a cleaner graphic so BOTW counts for both of them.

@fartcat55 I really like the content additions, new bosses, rosa being added, Challenge Mode coming back from NSMBU with 74 challenges and the multiplayer stuff. I got a lot of value and playtime out of it imo

@ShiftedPyro why is mario wonder in fantastic ? i 100% it on switch 1, what's different beside the online dlc thing ?

@Juyuutsu the upscaling solution used in XDE gives it a smeary image quality. Unlike 1DE and 2, it doesn't use DLSS so it ends up with this awful solution instead. Docked is barely playable but don't even try with handheld, it looks awful on the Switch 2's 1080p display

@ShiftedPyro wait whats wrong with Xeno X Chronicles? I was planning on playing that one 😭 its the only Xenoblade game im interested in

@omega_lavender 2 is the second most stable upgrade but it still suprising that X is locked 99% of the time but it has that horrible upscale 💔💔

@ShiftedPyro Xenoblade 2’s isn’t perfect either, I notice in really populated areas it can dip frames a bit (not nearly as bad as 1’s upgrade), in this way Xenoblade X’s upgrade is the most stable out of the 3 in terms of framerate, too bad the muddy look and no new content keeps it so low

@_josemiguelgg_ I think the content additions help it in my eyes. The strange hitches do suck tho which is why it isnt in Fantastic for example

@ShiftedPyro How can you rate the Xenoblade 1 Switch edition as "good"? It has horrible frame rate drops, and mind you, the original is my favorite game.
