@C_NyaKundiH Last kick of a dying horse by Ruto oppressive regime..The new administration by @edwinsifuna will not engage in this kind of embarrassment of @NPSOfficial_KE
Almost 10 hours after Central Police Station OCS Chief Inspector Dishen Angoya reportedly complained that he was unwell and had high blood pressure, he was still locked up at Lang’ata Police Station.
This is the same system that uses police officers to face angry citizens, then abandons them the moment political orders turn into personal liability.
If this can happen to an OCS, junior officers should read the room very carefully.
CS treasury Mbadi and CS interior Murkomen are playing politics over an issue that has paralyzed the country in less than a day! Kwanza the arrogance with Mbadi. Then, energy CS Opiyo is still stammering about Orengo and Linda Mwananchi.
And wait, where's CS Transport Davis Chirchir in all this?
@georgediano Just the way clueless Ekspats issue unverified, misleading and unsolicited statement consensus on a national TV, their master spats promises that are not even budgeted.
Chairperson of Matatu Owners Association has declared that the Strike is still on In front of that Mumu CS for Energy & that other Black panther from the ministry of Transport. The fear is gone & Mama assembly's mbuzi back in Sikhendu has given birth to Twins. Weka Mawe!!🥳🔥🔥

@Shikuekwe@1Rubir Okay, allow me to educate you. The Ukraine v Russia War might have had an effect on the global oil prices because it affected the European supply and demand of the oil but we adapted, but the USA v Iran war has a DIRECT IMPACT because of something called the STRAIT OF HORMUZ
During Uhuru’s time, fuel prices went up and many stayed silent.
Today, global oil prices rise because of the Iran conflict and suddenly protests erupt everywhere.
The double standards in Kenyan politics are always loud.
CS Murkomen: The whole disruption of the oil supply chain is very serious. A number of countries in our neighbourhood do not have fuel in the first place. Forget about the prices, they don’t have it. Some countries have told their citizens to work from home. Because of the foresight and the G to G program, we at least have a guarantee of supply of fuel, even if it is at a higher price. It would be worse if we completely did not have fuel
The Government has taken measures to mitigate against the unprecedented spike in global fuel prices ocassioned by the US/ Israel- Iran war.
With the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz, ships are taking longer routes and insurance costs have soared to record highs.
The Goverment has already reduced VAT on fuel from 16% to 8%, while 12 billion shillings from the fuel stabilization fund have been applied to manage prices, otherwise the prices would have shot to 300 shillings per litre by now.
President William Ruto has ordered an interministerial engagement of Cabinet Secretaries responsible for the National Treasury, Energy, Transport and Interior to engage with stakeholders to see what additional measures are necessary, and to make sure normalcy in the transport sector returns as soon as possible.
While citizens have the freedom to demonstrate to show their displeasure with the prevailing situation, criminal acts of arson, obstruction of traffic, looting of property and robbery of motorists and other innocent members of the public cannot be tolerated and will be severely punished.
The public is requested to exercise calm and patience as the Government contemplates additional measures to ensure that fuel prices do not rise to levels that will cause serious damage to the economy, in as much as possible, and cognizant that the present situation is caused by factors beyond the control of the Republic of Kenya.
