The premise of my "green candle therapy" thesis is people forgot the ability to dream because price went down only from Oct '25 to Feb '26 (recency bias). All it takes is a few god candles to reignite good vibes, FOMO, belief, and positive reflexivity. Believe in something 🐂

BTC getting ready to put in a god candle to silence the bears People got too bearish & depressed at the lows, nothing some green candle therapy can't fix!

stocks side quest | intro i'm bored. competitive. wanted to build something systemic to keep the brain sharp (so i did). a model on ~50 stocks, running live in public the indicator outputs direction (bullish/bearish). options are one way to express it, not the only way and not what i'm telling anyone to play setup: ~3-4 triggers a week 1-10 day holds every trade logged in a public google sheet whether i tweet it or not (link below) weekly recaps: what's working, what isn't, what i'm tweaking backtest looks good. but backtests always look good. that's why it's going live no idea if this works. this is a live experiment. main feed stays crypto. this is just a side project link to google sheet: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…

Listened to a pretty interesting podcast, guest is a mid-frequency trader describing all the stupidity and his edges from that in the market. His core argument is simple: crypto has the worst counterparties in the world, by design. In equities humanity's full effort goes into correct pricing. Best math kids, best unis, best training, million $ salaries, multi-million bonuses. Competing against that as a trend follower gets you Sharpe 0.2 on a good day. Barely worth doing. And in crypto you're choosing between the XTX autist from Holland or the guy with an ape pfp in a boomer Facebook group who thinks Bitcoin replaces fiat. > Hist words. "There's no second-worst counterparties than crypto." Then 3 structural reasons the dumb money stays dumb: 1) Sticky capital. Money comes in, goes up 20-30%, now you've got a bunch of guys on house money playing loose at the casino. That money sloshes around within crypto but almost never leaves. Pull 100 friends who are in crypto, ask how many have an off-ramp plan. Vast majority don't. 2) Siloed capital within chains. Once you're in the Phantom wallet on Solana you're not bridging back to MetaMask and paying ETH fees. That capital is trapped in the ecosystem, sloshing between whatever horses are running, creating massive reflexive swings. 3) Price insensitive buyers and sellers on both sides. Bitcoin cultists buying at $120k because today is always the best day. That's your edge on the long side. VCs who got in at $5m valuation and are sitting on a $400m coin, slowly bleeding exit liquidity into thin markets for 90 days. That's your edge on the short side. North Korea who just hacked a bridge and needs to sell before anyone freezes the funds - doesn't care what price they get. Short that too. Now his edges, just simple stuff I think most of us know here but probably the majority doesn't execute on well or systematically. - Top 20 momentum Buy anything in the top 20 by market cap within 5 days of making a 20-day high. Sell when it goes 5 days without a new 20-day high. Equal weighted. Sharpe 1.3 through bull, bear. - Stack three things together That trend system plus cross-sectional momentum (rank everything, long top 50%, short bottom 50%, market neutral) plus carry (long highest funding rate coins, short most expensive to hold). Equal weighted. Daily execution from a spreadsheet. Comes out Sharpe 2. - Volume predicts price (volume attention price loop) Rank all coins by volume after stripping market noise. Long increasing volume, short decreasing volume. "Well over Sharpe 2." Known effect, reflexive, provable statistically. Higher volume predicts higher prices. Lower volume predicts lower prices. Sounds like nothing. - Short small caps that pump Momentum works on large caps. Flips negative by the third or fourth decile. Bottom 20% of Binance perps makes a 20-day high - short it. Strong edge because it's the market maker Dubai pump and dump lifecycle playing out mechanically every single time. - New Binance listing short Market maker contract is 90 days. Strike price set off 7-day VWAP after launch. From day 7, delta hedging mechanically pushes the coin down. Short it for 90 days. Every time. Edge comes entirely from understanding how the game is structured, not from any signal at all. Another case of simplicity winning. Will drop the podcast in the replies, worth listening.

I have mixed feelings about Hyperliquid's profit numbers. The founder and a team of only 11 generated $900 million in profit in 2025. The highest profit per person ever recorded, in any industry, anywhere. On one hand, I'm happy for them. Jeff's story, building something this significant in 3 years, is worth praising. But let's be honest about what this is. An extraction machine, dressed in the language of decentralization. The traders take the risk. The protocol takes the margin. The founder and the team get rich. We spent 15 years saying crypto would redistribute financial power. We didn't fix the casino. We just made it more efficient (with a decentralization sticker on it).

>>> Thoughts On Peptides >>> Had three good friends ask me about peptides in the last week on here... So figured I'd just do a tweet about it in case anyone else is curious! Basically when people reference "peptides" right now there's four areas they could be talking about, and I'll give my thoughts on each below: 1) GLP-1's like ozempic and retatrutide and etc I've never taken these and I'm kind of ambivalent on them... Think a lot of 'regular folks' are gonna cook themselves by losing weight with these while simultaneously not getting enough micronutrients and exercise and etc and end up looking 'ghoulish' (something we're already seeing). If you're already a super intentional person or fitness-bro however and just want to experiment with taking them low dose in order to perfect your body composition or to help with a cut then I say go for it though 💪 Indeed these were a staple on bodybuilder forums for over a decade before they finally found mainstream popularity. There's also some fascinating anecdotal stuff about their ability to help with overcoming other addictions and compulsive behaviors (though one could argue our compulsions and addictions and our general 'hunger' are part of what makes us human and its dangerous to dull them). Anyway utterly fascinating topic though... 2) Recovery Agents Like BPC-157 And TB-500 These are the ones I have personally used the most and I think they are incredible. Had a bad injury from a BJJ tournament in January and took injectable BPC-157 and injectable TB-500 for recovery and I think they absolutely 100% aided substantially. Also the experiments they are doing on mice with these are just mind-blowing. Literally almost seems magical. I also think they have way less potential side effects and seem quite benign (but we shall see - no long-term data yet). I just switched to oral BPC-157, which seems to also work well based on all the anecdotal info and studies, and which some folks prefer if they are using it to heal stomach problems. 3) GHK-CU For Skincare/Healing/Rejuvenation/Anti-Aging Been taking this topically for last year. There's a lot of bunk versions if I understand right so make sure you do your research and get the right brand. Again, all the studies and anecdotal info on this is extremely promising. Haven't seen any massive differences myself but am convinced enough to keep taking it for now :) 4) Newer stuff like pinealon that's just starting to get experimented with, and stuff like melanotan that's not technically a peptide but gets lumped in with them, and all sorts of other more experimental and niche stuff. Have not taken any of these and think you should probably do some pretty massive geeking out on them before you try any. They are all super exciting though and the possibilities seem endless as far as the peptide space as a whole. Conclusion That is my general thoughts on the question! Think this entire area of peptides/broscience/wearables/anti-aging/etc is going to completely blow up and permanently change the way we do medicine... Honestly reminds me of crypto back in like 2012... and would not be a bad field to devote oneself to... As far as actual day-to-day peptide use right now though, again the only stuff I'm taking currently today is: -BPC-157 for ongoing injury recovery -Topical GHK-CU for anti-aging and recovery

I invested in a childhood friend's business a few years ago and it's not going well. So everyday when he's out doing things other than work, which is all the time, I DM him asking why he's not working. I'll continue this until I feel like I've extracted back my 50k investment.
