The results of my PhD are finally published!! Rare germline variants in childhood cancer patients suspected of genetic predisposition to cancer pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34687117/

Childhood cancer is considered rare, and so research is underfunded. ≅900 kids are diagnosed with cancer every year in Au. Considering the impact that cancer has on kids with their entire lives in front of them, and on families, they cannot be considered less worthy of support!

Lots of confusion about quarantine vs isolation. Quarantine = the period when you may be incubating illness or the period following exposure before you may develop illness. This period applies to close contacts and international travellers who may have been exposed overseas. 1/x
