@Migrationsverk Will they automatically be migrated to the new model (i.e., guaranteed decision within one month, for completed applications)? Or will they continue to be handled by the current model?
Hej @Migrationsverk, have you decided on the exact date on which the "New model for work permits" will come into effect? What will happen to the work permit applications submitted just before (a few days, or a couple of weeks) this date?
Hej @Migrationsverk,
How many applications were submitted in May 2023 for extension of a self-employment based residence permit? (Main applicants only.) How many of those applications are decided and out of the decided applications, how many have been granted an extension & PR?
@Migrationsverk,
My friend from India has 240 credits Engineering bachelor's degree. And 30 credits (6 months) post graduate diploma in advance computing. (He also has several years of IT industry experience.)
Is he eligible to apply for the residence permit to search for a job?

Hej @Migrationsverk,
Can you please provide stats on the first time work permit applications submitted in April 2023 under (1) certified & (2) non-certified categories?
Stats for work permit applications that are strictly employees, without any sub-categories or family members.

@Migrationsverk Can you please double check the stats for Non-certified employers?
2,140 out of 3,028 applications received in April 2023 are settled? Which means almost 71% cases have received a decision?
(I am asking this because on May 30, just 262 out of 3,071 cases, or 9%, were decided.)
@Migrationsverk [3/3]
Something like:
Of recently closed cases, ....
"25% have received a decision within 1 month."
"50% have received a decision within 4 months."
"75% have received a decision within 9 months."
That I think will give a more realistic picture on the waiting time.
@Migrationsverk [2/3] What it means is, 25% cases have received decision after 9 months. These 25% cases may be "boundary cases" which were not complete from the start, or for which a lot of investigation was needed.
What will help is if you provide 3 stats instead of 1.
Hej @Migrationsverk
April 2023 statistics for first time work permit applications under (1) certified, and (2) non-certified categories please.
Statistics only for the first-time work permit applications that are strictly employees, without any sub-categories or family members.
@Migrationsverk Thank you Nareman. One of those two earlier replies (from May 2) was in fact from you. But that is fine.
I am just wondering, is it possible for Migrationsverket to make these filtering searches "public"?
Or at least available in "Min sida" when logged in using a BankID?
@ShilpuAmol Hi, I cannot answer how my colleague has filtered the statistics. However, I have looked at your question again and selected the filters according to your request. I apologize that our answers have confused you. Kind regards, Nareman
@Migrationsverk Thank you Nareman. There is some confusion with the stats for non-certified employers.
On May 2 u said: 185 received (8 concluded)
On May 16 u said: 206 received (12 decided)
Today u said 453: received (104 decided)
How can the applications "received in April" increase in June?
@ShilpuAmol Hi, In April 2023, we received 435 certified first time work permit applications. 329 have been decided and 106 are pending. For non-certified the numbers are the following: received 453 applications. 104 decided and 349 are pending. Kind regards, Nareman.
@Migrationsverk Can you please provide updated stats?
[April 2023, first time work permit applications under (1) certified, and (2) non-certified categories, strictly employees, without any sub-categories or family members.]
@ShilpuAmol Hi! In April 2023, we received 436 certified first time work permit applications. 131 have been decided and 305 are pending.
