Boggles my mind how much fans & word of mouth truly makes or breaks a film. #Scream7 has been panned by critics & some fans, yet globally grossed 193M… close to 200M. Crazy! #Scream has such a hardcore following & the true fans know the movie is abt Sid & Gale! 🤞for Scream 8!

#Scream7: Highest-grossing “Scream” film domestically & globally (over 176M). 2nd highest slasher of all time! Made #Scream a BILLION 💵 franchise. Sidney is not past her prime. Scream did burn it all down! Critics keep talking sh*t abt it & it’s only making it more popular.🤷‍♂️

The bad reviews & boycotters couldn’t stop it. #Scream7 has made over a whopping 175M WW. Not only the top grossing #Scream, but the return of Sidney. If it doesn’t show what the OG fans want, or how hard we miss nostalgia, I don’t know what will. How many times have u seen it?

With the news of Kevin Williamson not directing #Scream 8: 1) who would you want to see direct? 2) Which direction do you watch to see it go? Does anyone want to see Kincaid (Dempsey)? Also, #Scream7 will have a long, fruitful life w/ the amazing characters Wes & Kevin created!

Enjoying Q so much this season. The dude is hysterical. I did not like him on #Survivor 46, but I truly enjoy him on #Survivor50. He’s wacky & cooky in the best way. Gives off Old Era character vibes! And love that he calls Emily her entire name: Emily Flippen!

There’s an age bias against women in Hollywood. Neve/Sidney, looks amazing but pple called her ugly, a has been & old hag! What? She’s still hot & can kick a$$. That’s why #Scream7 was a success b/c it was a story about the woman who started it all! Ultimate final girl? #Scream

Despite the bad reviews & botched boycott attempts #Scream7 made roughly 150M WW & on pace to make 200M WW, which is the biggest in the #Scream series. Despite pple not going to the theaters as much it’s still making a killing. Safe to say what/who do u want to see in #Scream8?

@realitybites555 @SCREAMwithRCS Completely get it. I actually really disliked the opening the first few times I 👀 it. But the more I watched it the more I appreciated the beautiful cinematography, meta dialogue, excitement of the crowd watching Stab & the public aspect & Jada’s public death got me to do a 180.

@ShimBo84 @SCREAMwithRCS I always admired Scream 2’s opening for how cinematic and epic it was but it wasn’t scary to me at all. There’s something much creepier about GF calling you while you’re home alone at night than being attacked in public at a crowded theater.

Ok #Scream fam, how would you rank the openings? I would put #Scream7 at 3. 1, 2, 7, 3, 6, 5, and 4. 5 is low, because no one dies and 4 was confusing. Extra meta. How would you rank them? TBF I love all the openings!

Enough time passed for true #Scream fans: Is Stu really dead? #Scream7 didn’t give definitive proof & I think it would be awesome to use him again! What do you think? The movie had a few missteps, but it was still a tour de force & brought back the face of the franchise, Sidney!

#Scream7 opened w/ $64M domestically & $97M worldwide, blowing out OG projections. In context, it made more than #Scream 4 in totality & beat Scream 6’s opening wknd domestically, alone. The boycotts didn’t work. The bad reviews didn’t work. Scream 7 is great! Let’s go Scream 8!

#Scream7 is genuinely what #Scream 5 should’ve been. It’s unbelievable how amazing this film is, esp. being #7 in a franchise. A true legacy sequel & love letter to the fans! Had heart, nostalgia, gore & scares w/ fun new characters! Felt fresh & current. See it in theaters. A+
