One year ago - I imagined building the best video production agency in the game. Cinematic shots. Perfect color grades. Award-worthy edits. Then I made a video for a SaaS client that looked average - - Simple setup - Founder on camera - Clear script around a user problem It outperformed everything I'd ever produced. Brought paying subscribers. Actual MRR impact. That was the moment I realized: Production quality doesn't MATTER. Strategic messaging DOES. The best-looking video in the world converts NOBODY - ... if it's talking about the wrong thing. I haven't chased "cinematic" since.

Don’t make this one mistake before taking on a client. “not clearing expectations” Sometimes prospects may send a reference and want something else. So Make sure that you clear out the expectations. And you have to be ready to walk away if it’s not clear and properly placed.

I don't have a lucky story. I started making videos at 7 years old. On a laptop that crashed every 30 minutes. I had - No mentor No course No funding Why? Because I was obsessed with creating. Not because someone told me it was a good career move. Now? I'm still building. The tools changed. The obsession didn't. Most people wait for permission to start. I never asked.

12 months ago - I was training video editors full time. I loved the craft I hated the economics Editors competing on $5 shorts Race to the bottom No leverage Then I made one video for a SaaS client. It went viral. - Brought them cash - Recurring revenue - Inbound leads. That's when it made sense. My skill is building systems that generate revenue. I pivoted the next month. Haven't looked back.

i've been working hard lately. 1. launched Flixel (full acquisition engine for saas) 2. closed new clients last week 3. published 3 YouTube videos 4. hit 1,500 followers on X but that's not all... i also built LoopCast while running client work. to be honest? i love it. building multiple things keeps me sharp. client work teaches me what founders struggle with. building my own saas keeps me empathetic.

This monotonous view will make my day for sure 😇 Only editor can relate....
