In the light of the upcoming solar eclipse, which many people are likening to the ‘Sign of Jonah,’ it’s important for us as believers to discern the nature of signs and seek wisdom in Scripture. While the parallels are fascinating, Jesus' words in Matthew 12:39 serve as a timely reminder: "A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” The sign of Jonah, as explained by Christ Himself, is not about seeking signs in the heavens or on earth but points us towards the truth of salvation and redemption. Jonah's ordeal—three days and three nights in the belly of a great fish (Jonah 1:17)—was a precursor to a far greater miracle. Jesus explicitly connects this event with His own death, burial, and resurrection, stating, "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth" (Matthew 12:40). This prophetic sign was fulfilled in Jesus' resurrection, which is central to our faith and the cornerstone of our hope. This fulfillment demonstrates that the greatest sign has already been given and witnessed. So, as we observe the wonders of creation, like the coming solar eclipse, we should be reminded of the Creator's majesty and power, but let’s not be swayed into looking for heavenly signs, as I’ve also been guilty of doing. The book of Hebrews reminds us that "in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son" (Hebrews 1:2) As I said, I myself, have been guilty of doing this in the past, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that many of the “great awakening” proponents are pointing to the eclipse as symbolic of the “reawakening of America,” and a coming “age of peace and safety.” So, let’s not be like the Ninevites who needed a sign to repent but rather be a people who live by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself for us (Galatians 2:20). Our focus should remain on the message of the Gospel—the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ—as the foundation of our faith and the source of our hope. Don’t wait for a sign to repent, be in repentance daily so that the Lord will return to find you doing His will. “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” Matthew 24:42-44

Here is my brief discussion with David Icke. Unfortunately, I was abruptly disconnected as a speaker towards the conclusion. Nonetheless, I find Mr. Icke's reply quite interesting, as it only validates precisely the notion I've been asserting about the Hegelian dialectic occurring on a spiritual level, beyond mere material realms. I brought up Mr Icke’s past experiences with channeling entities or “ascended masters” and his kundalini awakening in Peru. These entities, with whom he and many others have had direct encounters, appear to possess malevolent characteristics and are guiding humanity towards a unified awakening through their coming victory over the clear and overtly evil schemes of the New World Order. I proposed that these spirits coincide with the misleading spirits warned about in sacred texts and that they are manipulating both sides (humanity and elite) to guide mankind to the same understanding about our “suppressed power and divinity” as Mr Icke's, which is the real end game — the consummation of the serpent’s lie. Just like how Satan led the angels into rebellion against God, by playing into their self-identity, sovereignty, and pride.
