As I said at the time - it was wild that we were analyzing the Budget on live tv before the Chancellor even stood up. I always expect surprises on Budget day -- I did not expect this!

Of energy bill cuts, Groundhog Day, headroom, the IMF, interviews with the Chancellor, a great Newscast debut for new IFS director @HelenMiller_IFS with @adamfleming … and, errrr, Punxsutawney Tom. Phil’s cousin, of course.

The brilliant @HelenMiller_IFS puts the challenges facing Rachel Reeves at the upcoming Budget in terms that anyone can understand. And, of course, *the big question*: Can the IFS be as influential as it is in economics in pushing Groundhog Day back up movie streaming charts??
