Note to self and lesson 1 in striving to go no till organic: cross slot planting spring oats into wild clover living mulch... and no rain for 10 weeks...isn’t a productive recipe. Back to the drawing board.

@tellenby @NFUtweets @nffn @daylesfordfarm @beeswaxfarming Difficulty for us is that they like an acid soil and we are pH 8 so yields very variable. We would love to grow them as an alternative to winter beans! Maybe we sould re-visit.....

AHDB launched request for 7 additional mentor farms today. Should the AHDB focus on data provision and not extension? Information must be digestible but few organisations can supply data while many can promote it.
