Regarding CBM, we have been testing a new version of the smart contract. We improved the gas required to withdraw off-chain node fees. The off-chain app also has been recently improved and is working fine locally in tests.

The TokenPrice contract provides this by querying Uniswap liquidity pools directly. This on-chain price feed avoids reliance on off-chain sources and delivers a decentralized price based on the pool’s current reserves. It supports both Uniswap V2 and V3. 📊 TokenPrice is also integrated into the dApp frontend to fetch live token prices used to calculate and display the total staked and total burned stats. 🚀 New updated code for the Burn Bank smart contract and KTOC are coming as well. 🚨CBM Update: Post-Testing Enhancements 🚨 All features planned for implementation after the initial testing phase have now been developed. The final enhancements include: ✅ TokenPrice Oracle v2 ✅ Vote In/Out Nodes ✅ Improved queryFees functionality ✅ Local Database Cache for more efficient retrieval of node fees & stakes events ✅ More flexible withdrawFees feature ✅ Minor bug fixes These features are currently being integrated into KTOC, with the final round of tests underway to ensure everything works seamlessly before launch. As noted earlier, once the new smart contracts are deployed and the updated Node app is released on GitHub, things will move fast. ❤️‍🔥

📥 Fee Withdrawal (Claiming Your Earnings) To receive their fees, node operators must actively withdraw them by calling a separate function. This lets operators accumulate rewards over time and withdraw them all at once, saving significantly on gas compared to claiming after each epoch. However, over time, checking earnings across many epochs can result in a large number of blockchain queries, which may slow down the node. To solve this, a local cache database is now used to store owed fees. This allows the app to fetch earnings quickly and smoothly without relying on slow, historical blockchain calls.

👨‍💻 CBM Improvement: Node Operator Fee 💸 Another improvement that was implemented as a result of our testing is the way node operators withdraw their earned fees. These operators are compensated for the gas and computing power used to secure the CBM’s voting and reward system. Fees are paid out in ETH from the Burn Bank contract’s balance to reward active participation in the network.
