It's #WorldAIDSDay ❤️ Today we are remembering the people who we lost to HIV/AIDS 🕯 There is a generation of older LGBT+ people & allies, who are still affected to this day by these losses and the trauma that came with them. They should be with us today.

Today at @PwC_UK we are celebrating our lesbian colleagues and friends from across the world! Today and every day, our LGBTQ+ community Shine brightly across our organisation and we are committed to continuing to pave the way for visibility of the LGBTQ+ community.

@ShinePwC members went to the unveiling of the Aids and HIV memorial recently in Birmingham. It was a moving ceremony to remember those we have lost. Was also a reminder that we need to continue to spread awareness of this issue, both within the Shine community and beyond.

.@TransITCUK of which @PwC_UK is a co-founder, held its annual gala on Monday to mark its fifth anniversary, bringing together people and organisations for #TransAwarenessWeek, and to celebrate the successes and value of trans people.

For #ComingOutDay we talked to John about his experience. “I left home when I was 18 to study in NYC, where I was able to live authentically. While you may feel alone in your coming out journey, there are always people around to support & lift you up - know that you're not alone”

For #ComingOutDay we talked to Luca about her experience. “I have been with my husband since high school & always knew I was bisexual. When I came out to him he said two reassuring words:"I know". I have seen the community's impact on one's sense of identity, confidence & pride."

Our 2022 Annual Report has a strong focus on people and our approach to diversity and inclusivity. This is the first year we have included the diversity data for sexual orientation alongside gender, ethnicity, disability and socio-economic background. #PwC2022AR
