Yesterday i featured on 🇿🇼ZTV ecosolutions, talking about Greenhouse farming as a climate resilient initiative to improve crop yields and global food security. We toured one of our projects in Domboshava and the farmer's journey was inspiring. Major highlights:

🔧pa weekend i was repairing a borehole pump. Client previously had many pump motor failures: its always advised to get PUMP SIZING correct✅, if pump motor is always overloaded it will not last❌. On long elevated distances, always get a professional to Size your Pump & Pipes

Farmers Ask: should i go for Pump fed (pressurised) or Gravity fed DRIP IRRIGATION SYSTEM? Please note: Drip Irrigation operates within a pressure range of 0.3-1 bars (aprox). A pump can easily meet that pressure, but a raised tank needs to be at least at 3m height.

Water source yields: If yields are good& the water source pump is of the correct size, you can irrigate DIRECT frm source to Drip system without any Reservoir. setup needs to be rightly designed and sized for efficient water distribution in the fields.
