@AndyCasarez1 His actions came from a place of pure grief and desperation. Once you understand his perspective, it’s hard to hate him for doing the only thing he thought would save her.

@Shinji_twts I never understood either, like he couldn't help her, and Puck knew that if he destroyed the world, someone would fix it and revert it, so thus it was the only way to make sure Emilia lived again.

@AndyCasarez1 so He wasn’t abandoning Emilia, he realized staying by her side was actually holding her back, so he broke the contract to give her a chance to face her past.

@AndyCasarez1 Yeah, Roswaal did admit that he has being manipulating events in the sanctuary so knowing that it's safe to suspect that he has a hand in puck not being able to come out and help emilia
