So, I’ve been booking Tatkal tickets for quite some time now, and in most cases, I’ve managed to book successfully, even on some of the busiest routes in India until recently. The last 2-3 weeks have been completely different. Everything, including the RailOne app, IRCTC Rail Connect app, and IRCTC website, keeps throwing different errors, and many times you can’t even reach the payment page. While @AshwiniVaishnaw and @RailMinIndia claim server capacity has been increased and action has been taken against agents and bots, based on my personal experience, this was effective for some time but now things seem to have gotten worse instead of better in recent times.

मेरे दोस्त ने Portable AC खरीदकर जो गलती की, वो आप बिल्कुल मत करना,ये story सुनकर आपका भी दिमाग खुल जाएगा। ​राहुल ने सोचा, Rent का घर है, दीवार क्यों तोड़नी? Portable AC लाऊंगा, जिस room में जाऊंगा वहीं ठंडी हवा पाऊंगा, पर उसकी ये ख़ुशी सिर्फ box खुलने तक ही थी। ​पहली रात जब उसने AC ON किया, तो लगा जैसे कमरे में कोई tractor start हो गया हो Compressor अंदर होने की वजह से इतना शोर था कि उसकी नींद ही उड़ गई। ऊपर से वो हाथी की सूंड जैसा मोटा exhaust pipe खिड़की से बाहर निकालने का जुगाड़ करते-करते उसका पसीना छूट गया। एक तो इसने कमरे का अच्छा खासा floor space घेर लिया, और cooling से ज़्यादा noise भर दिया। ​आज राहुल इसकी EMI भी भर रहा है और कान में रुई डालकर सोता है Movable के चक्कर में अपनी नींद और peace का सौदा मत करो। Split AC लगवाओ और सुकून की नींद सो जायो
