@Lute__CEO I mean Vox may not be a great narrator but he usually says what's people think when convincing them and he mentioned Lilith revolution multiple times. Even charlie knows she was doing something. Its entirely possible that she is just as selfish as Adam or Vox.

I know some Lilith enthusiasts would get an ulcer at the mere suggestion that she might not be a flawless girlboss equality icon. But the reality is that we know almost nothing about her, & The little we know about her from the show, is not painting her in the best light. +

Sorry guys: I get very wordy. TLDR: I think the storybook is showing us Lilith's Eve, not the real Eve. The fact that the silhouette mirrors Lilith's older designs makes me think she's inserting pieces of herself into the narrative... Does that make sense?

@Lute__CEO Add to that the fact that Lilith spent seven years in heaven after striking an unspecified deal with her "despicable ex", and it doesn't seem like she was forced to do it.
