Anyone who knows me knows how much this sweet angel meant to me. She’s been so strong battling diabetes for the past 2 1/2 years now, but she finally couldn’t take it anymore. Thank you giving me some of the best 6 years of my life. Your mother and I will miss you so much.

FINALLY AFTER OVER 20 IN GAME HOURS I GOT IT 😭😭😭 Basculegion the Mist Drifter is exclusive to the ongoing SV outbreak event - it was a gruesome hunt I had to do on the Switch 1 because of how the spawns work on Switch 2. It was so worth it. I love it so much. It’s beautiful.

@SombraCurse The spot I was hunting in by the south east of the map had to wide of a spawn range to reliably spawn the basculin outbreak and only spawned about 4 at a time because there was too may surrounding spawns. But someone in the replies pointed out a great way to hunt on the switch 2

@ShinyVG @_tiredlegs You basically just do a loop, spawn the pool, look for the shiny. Exit to the west loop up back north and repeat the process.

@ShinyVG @_tiredlegs Idk it it helps spread info but the bottom right pool of Fellhorn Gorge is how you can hunt it on the Switch 2. There's a particular spot on the cliff that's hanging over the pool where you hit a fog wall very easily and it spawns about 10+ at a time.

@jarvis I did notice that how well it works changes based on if it’s day/night so pick a time of day (I prefer hunting in the night) and close the game/turn the clock back 30 minutes if you don’t find it

@jarvis The only other tip I can give is to be patient. It’s brutal. Just take breaks if needed and reset the switch clock while the game is closed to preserve the outbreak. In the replies there’s a link to an OBS plugin you can use to make all colors besides the shade of shiny basc gray

@Foolie03 Here’s how I was hunting it before I went for the misty mark, you get a lot of spawns here. I find it easier to see in the night personally. If you have a capture card let me know and I can give you another link to help you out.

@ShinyVG Brother I’ve I’m on my third sandwich on my third outbreak unable to find this damn shiny Basculin. Switch 2 has not been helping this whatsoever, I literally spawn 2-5 Basculin each time and I don’t think I’ve encountered a shiny yet.
