The IGN review of Mouse PI For Hire is like a parody of game journalists. They gave the game a 6/10 (reminder that they gave Black Ops 7 a 7/10) for the following reasons: -Too many cheese references (in a world of mice) -You kill too many people (yes, really. You kill people in a shooter, what a surprise) -There isn't enough noir (in a game inspired by 1930s Mickey Mouse cartoons) -Too many references to old movies (in a game explicitly inspired by 1930s cinema) -There's too many arenas where you have to kill all enemies (in a fucking boomer shooter) -The game's story is not serious enough to be a true noir (when did the fucking game ever CLAIM to be a true noir? It's a fucking cartoon) This motherfucker seriously looked at a satirical game inspired by 1930s Mickey Mouse cartoons and expected to play LA Noire or some shit. Games journalists are not real people, man.

@klein_more88816 @WillSloanEsq I haven't seen the furious yet (unfortunately) and yeah they don't compare to godlen age hk cinema or anything but compared to other Chinese streaming stuff they're pretty good. Twilight of the warriors was also great

@klein_more88816 @WillSloanEsq There's actually some good low budget Chinese action movies I've seen in recent years eye for an eye 2 and blade of fury are some standout ones. "Fight against evil 2" had great choreography but from the title you can kinda imagine what else you're getting lol

@Shiv8270 @MiffedScientist @nikicaga Try turning off some of the shadows, and you can restrict object paging. Unfortunately, the only thing after that is view distance.

TES II and III def not generic. TES IV is pretty generic and moves the pseudo-Romanesque setting like 1000 years forward into medieval times. TES V, I'd actually say isn't generic for the time

@MiffedScientist @nikicaga There's a mod thats putting cyrodil into Morrowind and the design for the towns is so much more inspired and interesting. Where it's still tropical in lore and everything is much more roman inspired I love it. Unfortunately it runs horribly somehow despite being in Morrowind

@delillostan Depends who i'm with my different friend groups have different general topics. Music, movies, video games, politics just anything we have a general interest in I guess. Also stuff happening in our life. Helps to be doing something you can talk about if you're bad at talking tho

I was watching the original Daredevil series not too long ago and was so impressed by the cinematograph. That was just 10 years ago. Marvel television show for Netflix looks better than a lot of prestige tv nowadays!! And I so need to watch xfiles again my god...
