1/3 What a weekend to be part of #teamshiverers! After 18 months away from county competition Shiverers swimmers had a thunderous return to the K2. What a delight to see new swimmers enjoying their first @sussexasa Qualifying swims and gaining pbs along the way.

@ChalfontOtters @swimsoutheast Terry was a huge supporter of our swimmers and a real encouragement and figure of positivity at galas. The region will feel the loss of this wonderful man.

Terry Norris – Past Chairman It is with great sadness that I share with you that Terry Norris passed away today. Terry was truly a great supporter of the club and he helped the club over several years, and he will be sorely missed by many throughout the swimming community.

@Shiverers Such sad news. Good to hear about the tribute page. I’d love to share a lovely photo I have of him and I taken by the pool in the 1980s if that’s appropriate? He made such an impact on my early childhood when I swam at Shiverers. Such a legend. #RIPIanNewell

Friends will have heard the news of the sad passing of former coach Ian Newell. Please see our website for a tribute, we know some have expressed a desire to send their memories in support of the family- we are in the process of setting this facility up also on the website.
