This man claims he got this took as a gift for starting a business. He claims it never worked right and he wants to exchange it for a new one. This store recently changed its return policy and has it posted. No exchanges and returns without a receipt for anything over $50 due to rampant fraud and theft. He acknowledges he doesn’t have a receipt and he acknowledges that they can’t exchange it and he says that’s fine I just want to swap it out. It’s literally the same thing. It only takes one person to ruin it for everyone. People are stealing items and trying to return them with an ID, they are buying a new one but using that receipt and box to return the old item, it’s no wonder why there is a policy change. Do you feel he should have gotten an exchange as a courtesy?

These conspiracy theories exploit victims who lost everything. Obviously, this is completely false — our conversation was about police operations in MacArthur Park, because this constituent owns properties across the street. But misinformation won't distract us from accelerating our city's recovery, rebuilding the Palisades, and getting families back home.
