@AminCad @MorePerfectUS You’re insufferable man. Truly no critical thought left in your brain after all of this AI use

Jeff Bezos has begun the process of raising $100 billion for a new fund that would buy up manufacturing companies and then use AI to automate production.

@AminCad @MorePerfectUS I already did that… Are you lost? Also why the hell would I care about the wages 200 years ago? The issue we are discussing is AI. AI is not being used to help the common people, the only current action of AI is to destroy working class jobs and make billionaires richer.

@Shockerreee @MorePerfectUS You don't have to take my word for it. Do some real research and check what real wages were in 1826 and then compare them to real wages today. Real wages means wages after adjusting for inflation. In other words, purchasing power per hour of work.

@AminCad @MorePerfectUS LOLOL you are not real. Capitalism benefits the 1% and everybody else gets scraps. You are actually a billionaire lover, not going to waste another moment replying to you.

Wages after adjusting for inflation are 20 times greater today than they were in 1826. Yes, it has worked out really well over the past century. The sectors of the economy that have done the least well are those where the government's role has increased through restrictive interventions in the name of restraining capitalism. Your anti-capitalist ideology is the most harmful thing to society.

@AminCad @MorePerfectUS Ahh perfect! It’ll benefit the shareholders then. I’m so glad the billionaires and their shareholders are competing intensely. That has worked so well over the past century to improve the lives of the average person. So well thought out. Keep on believing AI is our savior

It's owned by the shareholders, some of whom are billionaires, some of whom are not. And they are competing intensely with each other. We've seen orders of magnitude drops in the cost of AI tokens over just the last two years, meaning that due to all this investment and competition, it's getting more affordable to use AI. So your accusation against me is quite ironic, given how much ignorance you just displayed with your comment.

@AminCad @MorePerfectUS It’s gotta be fun to be this unintelligent. Humanity has never created artificial intelligence before. The entire “increased productivity” is artificial, and owned by billionaires. This will never go towards helping the common person.

This will herald a new era of abundance for humanity, and yet absurdly the reaction is hysteria about job losses. You never need to worry about job losses emerging from increased productivity. That has never happened and never will. Increased productivity simply alleviates scarcity, which is a blight upon humanity.

Read Raising Expectations (and Raising Hell)
It’s just a weird sickness at some point, this level of greed. You have $200 billion dollars. You could wipe your ass with $100 bills and keep getting richer every day. Why kill thousands and thousands of jobs at this point?
