@davemeltzerWON If we're talking about Ospreay, @AEW shouldve known better and protected one of their future faces WAY MORE! Match still would've been great without that spot! Stop dropping people on their heads for the sake of it!
English

@benkingfm @Shoemosher @Edwin_Honoret You can't perform songs that you don't own at coachella if the license to those aren't acquired by you or coachella team. Like are ya'll insane? It'll be copyright lawsuit.
English

@ClubAmeric38259 @lhschaconne @WeirdoKiddoAB @Edwin_Honoret Royalties are paid by the PROs for all performers ahead of time. Makes no difference what songs are played. Wrong again.
English

@Shoemosher @lhschaconne @WeirdoKiddoAB @Edwin_Honoret Yea, and when that happens royalties are payed. Which is the main thing they wanted to avoid with this whole YouTube concert situation.
If he has performed the songs live it would have been new live rendition and subject to a prior negotiation with the rights owners.
English

@WeirdoKiddoAB @benkingfm @Edwin_Honoret It would not because thats not how the laws around performance work.
English

@ruthpark337984 @Edwin_Honoret Should have to post what AI spit this out at you to know what to avoid. Do you think every cover this weekend was 'cleared'? How about everything sampled in Sahara? How do you think tribute bands work? They charge money for performance, you think they have 'permission'?
English

Yeah, after selling his publishing/performance rights to Hipgnosis (the catalog buyer), they get the royalties whenever those old songs are publicly performed—usually via PROs like ASCAP/BMI at concerts. Playing the original YouTube recordings + singing along isn't a "new live rendition" with band/instrumentation. Legally, it sidesteps needing direct clearance or sync licenses from the owners for a fresh arrangement/performance of the composition, treating it more like referencing the existing recording. PROs might still collect standard fees, but it dodges extra deal-specific approvals or full production royalties tied to Bieber "performing" it outright. Clever workaround.
English

@WeirdoKiddoAB @Edwin_Honoret Again, just flat out wrong. You're choosing to do this. You can stop.
English

@Shoemosher @Edwin_Honoret Go Google about it. If you're in good terms(like they're close to you) then may be you don't have to pay otherwise everything artists takes permission/pays before performing. Like if you're performing anywhere where money is involved then you absolutely have to have the license
English

@lhschaconne @WeirdoKiddoAB @Edwin_Honoret You should give it back, because youre comically wrong. Ask your boss tomorrow and look at their disappointed face.
English

@ClubAmeric38259 @lhschaconne @WeirdoKiddoAB @Edwin_Honoret You can, and it happened literally 100s of times this weekend.
English

@Shoemosher @lhschaconne @WeirdoKiddoAB @Edwin_Honoret You can’t just perform a live rendition of a song you don’t have the rights at a commercial event
English

@Shoemosher @WeirdoKiddoAB @Edwin_Honoret There are rules like this. I’ve seen nelly recently and he either rapped only half the song or rapped his lines over a completely different beat, one song he rapped over Gwen Stefani-bananas. It’s because Nelly sold his catalog and could only perform them a certain way
English

@WeirdoKiddoAB @Edwin_Honoret Youre absolutely 100% wrong. And confident. For no reason.
English

@Shoemosher @Edwin_Honoret Not ex label but he definitely needs license from the company that bought his catalogue. If you don't own your records you have to get license for using the songs you're gonna perform otherwise you'll be sued
English

@dontmesswlady04 @WrestlePurists Like they obviously did last night?
English

@WrestlePurists It'd be fantastic if they start the build up for this 🔜
Instead of 2 weeks prior like in the past. Why isn't CMLL going to be a part of it?
English

@C1sc0CC @stevehaag81 @HeatherIsUnsane Very clearly the stubhub interface. Which does not do presale.
English

@stevehaag81 @HeatherIsUnsane No, they're not.
It's presale and this is Ticketmaster.
English

@JohnCarreyrou Jesus, just leave the guy rest in peace and respect his wish to stay anonymous. What hoves you the roght? How does this kind of "journalism" help the world? Ur just looking for a sensation.

@_Goteem_ @realericmoutsos WTF are you talking about? Its the most gentle launch in history.
English

I've never thought about this before watching the video again this time, I'm 47 years old and I've watched this particular clip thousands of times probably okay maybe 400 times honestly. But I never thought about the physics of that launch, I always thought about the camera angle. If the astronauts were inside of that capsule and it launched that hard, they'd be dead! I don't know why I've never looked at it like that before, I was always hung up on how they tracked the module. But taking off that abruptly would have broken all of their f****** backs!
