Flowers in High Jewelry: when nature becomes eternal.
In high jewelry, flowers are not simply decorative motifs they are masterpieces of craftsmanship where nature is transformed into a timeless work of art.
From Van Cleef & Arpels’ poetic floral creations to Cartier’s exotic orchids, Bulgari’s vibrant gemstone blossoms, and Chanel’s iconic Camellia, each flower tells a story of beauty, elegance, and emotion.
Diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires, and exceptional gemstones recreate the delicacy of petals, capturing the fleeting beauty of nature and making it eternal.
A flower that blooms for only a moment becomes a jewel designed to last forever.
High jewelry celebrates the perfect dialogue between art, nature, and savoir faire: a secret garden where creativity shines through every precious detail. 🌸 #HighJewelry #HauteJoaillerie #JewelryArt #FloralJewelry #FineJewelry #JewelryDesign #Gemstones #Diamonds #VanCleefArpels #Cartier #Bulgari #ChanelJewelry #LuxuryJewelry #JewelryHistory #NatureInspiredJewelry #Craftsmanship

A 7-Year-Old Survivor's Account of the Oriire Primary School Abduction;
Last night, I met one of the children who was rescued after the abduction at Oriire Primary School. Her name is Abidat Ayanwale, a 7-year-old pupil of First Baptist Church Primary School, Yawota. With her parents' consent, she shared her experience in her own simple words. Listening to her was heartbreaking.
When asked to mention the name of her school, she replied, "First Baptist Church Primary School, Yawota."
When asked what happened during the attack, she said that she tried to escape through a window, but one of the bandits pulled her back.
When asked how they were transported, she said they were taken away on motorcycles (okadas).
When asked where they were taken, she answered, "Into the forest."
When asked where they slept, she said they slept on the bare ground.
When asked how often they were fed, she said they ate only once a day.
When asked what happened whenever they had to move from one place to another, she explained that the bandits beat them regularly. She said that whenever she became exhausted and cried, she would cover her face with her hijab so the bandits would not notice her tears, fearing they would beat her even more.
When asked what they drank, she said they drank water from streams.
She also said that whenever the bandits saw an aircraft or drone overhead, they ordered all the captives to lie flat on the ground.
Even after her rescue, she still appeared weak and exhausted. She was reportedly admitted to the hospital again that yesterday night for further medical attention and thanks to the health practitioners, they attended to her very well.
One particularly disturbing part of her account was that the bandits monitored videos and information about the incident. She said they told one of the female teachers that her husband had been publicly demanding the release of his wife and child. They threatened that if he did not stop, they would abduct him as well and kill him in the presence of his wife and son. According to the child, the woman was severely beaten after those threats.
Listening to this little girl made it obvious that the trauma of the ordeal did not end with their rescue.
I respectfully appeal to the government Gov. Seyi Makinde and all relevant authorities to invite these children back, together with their parents, for proper follow-up assessments. Parents should be encouraged to report any emotional, psychological, or behavioural changes they have noticed since their children's return.
This interview was conducted by Bose Eboda Gbadebo
These children have gone through an unimaginable experience, and I strongly believe they need professional psychological care to help them heal and protect their future.
While speaking with Abidat, I noticed that whenever a vehicle passed nearby, she became visibly frightened. She also appeared to tire very easily. These may be signs that she is still deeply affected by what she experienced.
Rescuing these children was a great victory. Helping them recover emotionally and psychologically should be the next priority.
I rest my case!
